Big Buddha Cheese Strain Overview

Around 1989, Cheese (also known as UK Cheese), was a dominant strain found throughout the UK. The original Cheese strains were descendants of Skunk #1.

In 2004, the breeder Big Buddha used a clone of Cheese and crossed it with an Afghani Landrace strain, resulting in the strain now known as Big Buddha Cheese.

The balanced 50-50 Sativa to Indica ratio combined with 18% THC content, offers a profound de-stressing, relaxing effect, which is also favorable in combating depression.

Big Buddha Cheese won the 2006 High Times cannabis cup award.
